Mr. Shank

Mr. Shank has been working out everyday since March 28th and publicly stated on Facebook that he aims to keep doing this until we are back at school.  At the time he was sure it wouldn’t be this long…

 

He thought he would share with you his experience using different apps to stay motivated to workout.

 

He’s completed Six Pack in 30 Days (https://apps.apple.com/us/app/six-pack-in-30-days-6-pack/id1338655056) – Ab Workout and Lose Belly Fat at Home (https://apps.apple.com/us/app/lose-belly-fat-at-home/id1401094894) These are both created by Leap Fitness Group.  They have animated people doing the actions, with some side coaching, daily reminders and the ability to map your progress.  Both have unique ab workouts to keep it interesting and can be completed in 15 to 30 mins.

 

Currently he is using Fiton, (https://fitonapp.com/) it is fantastic.  It is customizable, as it asks you to list your favorite kinds of workouts and your workout goals.  Every workout is led by a motivating instructor.  Each exercise has plenty of modifications and is less about reps and more about doing the activities accurately.  Plus you can invite friends to your workouts and do it together. He highly recommends this app for your personal fitness.
